Peace and Power

My personal martial arts website built to show my journey, my progression, and any training tips that I can give to anyone who needs mentoring and guidance. Throughout my journey I have decided to train further and use my skills in my film making career, however I have also built this site to help further spread the positive word on what martial arts truly stands for and that's to spread positivity and create peace, not to create conflict. Many young martial artists of today's world have become corrupted by everything they see on screen that they forget when it's on screen, it's only acting. And sadly some veteran martial artists have been training with the "wrong set of values" and even have been teaching it to the youngsters. That is something that I want to help change through this website and through my martial arts social network, Way of the Warrior Extended Network. (see "links")

There are many great action stars out there that show their skill in REAL martial arts films such as Donnie Yen, Jackie Chan, Jet Li, and much much more that don't get as much recognition as they probably should. The difference with these people are simply that they don't train to do some simple wire based stunts in a film simply for a particular role. This is a lifestyle for them and something they've brilliantly made work for them in their career. I want to show that I, too, can make a success doing the same thing while also changing the face of the your typical martial arts movie. With my projects I would like to add more diversity and cast those of all races into my martial arts projects to further unite us; young and old, weak and strong, men and women, teachers and students, masters and disciples, brothers and sisters....

All along martial arts is something that has always been a passion for me. It took me some time to realize that it's something I can contribute to film along with any other genre of film that I'm currently doing projects for.
